JetApps recently released JetBackup 5.1.8 to BETA/EDGE Tier. These release notes provide a summary of core bug fixes, new features, stability fixes, and fresh GUI updates! Please note that “Base” features and bug fixes apply to all JetBackup versions. Panel Specific features and bug fixes have also been added.

What’s new

JetBackup 5.1.8 (Base):

  • Enhanced the quality of logs.
    • Logs now show how long an item was “Queued” and how long it took to actually “execute”.
  • Added stability by preventing the ability to backup and restore at the same time.
    • Processes can be queued together, but will not run at the same time to avoid errors.
  • Added the ability to restore an account without the Panel Config backup.
    • This allows you to keep your current account configuration and restore other items without having to do so manually.

  • Users granted all privileges will be treated like root.
